At a wedding, a new baby or a housewarming, a box of sweets carries the good news for you. Choosing one comes down to three questions: who is it for, how many people will share it, and does it need to match anything else on the day?
Match the box to the moment
For wedding favours or a thank-you at the door, a 250g box is enough for one household. For family visits during the wedding week, a 1kg box shared at the table works better. For a baby announcement, many families send motichoor ladoo, the sweet traditionally shared with good news.
Mixed box or one sweet?
A mixed box lets guests try a few things, which suits a crowd with different tastes. A single-sweet box, such as kesar motichoor ladoo or kaju katli, looks uniform when you are handing out dozens.
Build your own
If you want particular sweets, a custom box lets you choose the mithai yourself, in 250g, 500g or 1kg. Custom boxes are for everyday dates, not Diwali pre-order dates.
Something savoury
Some guests would rather have something salty. Boxes that pair burfi with roasted almonds or cashews, like the sweet and savoury window box, cover both.
Timing
For large or custom orders, give us at least 7 to 10 days. You choose the pickup or delivery date at checkout, and for a delivery tied to an event, pick a date two or three business days before it. Pickup is free at our four stores.
